Infrastructure and activities

Le Roptai offers a wide variety of on-site activities. At the reception desk you can find all the necessary and detailed information you need about what to do at Le Roptai and in the surrounding area. You will find information about our events on our events calendar and /or our Facebook page. At the reception desk you can also get information about the tourist highlights in the area, or get sorted with more practical matters, such as buying shower or washing machine tokens.
During high season the camping shop is open every day, whether you need freshly baked bread or a gas bottle. During low season a sample of the items of the camping shop is available at the reception desk, and it is possible to order freshly baked bread six days during the opening periodes.

The canteen, also called ‘La Cafet’, is open during mid and high season for snacks, drinks, as a meeting point during activities, or to play pool. During low season the canteen is available on reservation for groups. Not far from the terrace of ‘La Cafet’ you can see  the playing ground which is open to children up to 12.

The heated outdoor swimming pool is normally open from the first of July until end of August if the weather is fine. Sportspeople can enjoy doing energetic laps or try our sports ground next to the reception desk, which is equipped with a volleyball ground, a small football ground, two ping pong tables and two rows for ‘petanque’.

The fans of outdoor activities will particularly enjoy high season: every week we have a programme under the name Roptai Outdoor.

For younger children or even entire families we have a small team offering a variety of activities during high season. It is often possible to take part in funny crafts or handiwork activities; there are also LIVE music evenings, and days which are specifically organised around a single activity or topic, and still much more..

In the wood at the centre of the campground it is not only possible to camp, but also to play 'petanque'

Hikers and mountain bikers are not forgotten! At the reception desk they will find hiking and biking suggestions, maps, trails.
